World Future Energy Summit 2009

globalgreeninternational proudly participated at the World Future Energy Summit 2009 in Abu Dhabi, on the occasion of the official visit of his Royal Highness the Prince of Orange and Princess Máxima of the Netherlands and the Minister of Foreign Trade, Frank Heemskerk.

Our innovative Waste-into-Energy concept - presented by the managing director of the Royal Dutch Airline KLM Mr. J.E.C. de Groot - contains
a new sustainable way of generating green electricity and clean
CO₂ from waste. In collaboration with our partners KLM, EECT and Altran, Waste-into-Energy has been developed to bring long-term solutions for positive environmental change to modern society and developing third world countries.

We sincerely thank all our visitors at the WFES for their interest and positive feedback. Thanks to a broad international media coverage, we were able to communicate this new concept to a global audience.
